This project was started as part of the Michigan State online Game Development for Modern Platforms course. Through out the course the basic building blocks of this game were either supplied or built as part of exercises within. 

  • A and D or Left and Right arrows to move
  • Space to Jump, space again to double jump

Great game.  The gameplay feels a little unbalanced in difficulty especially at the beginning.  The attack boxes(not sure if its a real term, just calling it that) of the enemies are large which makes it difficult to jump on them without getting killed.  I liked the graphics and the pixel-style of the game.  The moving clouds in the background are just a hair faster than I would play, but it does not take away from game and is not very noticeable.  I like the animations in the game(enemy and character, along with the other elements like projectiles).  The lighting is good and the entities stand out well without being completely different from the game colors and style.  The main page/home screen does not correspond with the games actual theme, but the buttons are no doubt really cool still.
